Mercy Hospital — Port Huron

This facility was constructed as an addition to a vacant area of the Hospital originally designed to accommodate a blood lab. The areas was about half of the square footage needed to house the new oncology treatment equipment that the Owner wished to offer to their cancer patients. In concert with the Owner and Architect, The Monahan Company was able to direct a phased construction program which added the required additional space to the existing blood lab area. The new space features a vault-like concrete and lead treatment room and all new support and control spaces. All work was done without patient care interruptions.
