University Liggett School — Middle School Renovations and Site Improvements
This Project featured extensive renovations to 2 distinct areas of the school along with new construction of a connecting link. Outdated elementary classrooms and the former Ford Gymnasium were transformed into the University’s new middle school. Among the features of this project was the adaptive reuse of the former gymnasium into 2 levels of useable space with administrative offices on the second floor and a dramatic 2-story lecture space at the main level along with classrooms. Ultimately, the new facility features this new great room/lecture space along with laboratories, multiple classrooms, offices, commons areas, stairways, bathrooms, an elevator and completely new mechanical/electrical systems. Additionally, a complete renovation of the main campus parking area and fire access road system was also accomplished.
