100 Years In Business
Our History
In the 1920s, Detroit was in the midst of an intense building boom; so was builder Edward V. Monahan. In 1922, he set in motion an extraordinary business focused on quality work and customer service that would continue on for 100 Years.
In the ‘40’s, ‘50’s, and 60’s, The Monahan Company built 183 structures for the Archdiocese of Detroit.
The ‘60’s and ‘70’s brought a focus on healthcare related projects. The company eventually built projects for every major healthcare company in Metro Detroit.

Our Future
In 2022, as The Monahan Company celebrated a major milestone of 100 years in business, new president Kevin Pruzinsky and Project Managers Kevin and Dave Monahan began work together to enhance what The Monahan Company has to offer and carry on the legacy of the Monahan name into the future century.
